Hello players and GMs alike!

Short journal for now. I have Pathfinder, and have read it fairly thoroughly.

The final verdict? Not yet. Not until it's properly playtested. But for now, I can safely say that if you're a huge fan of 3.5 and want to try something fresh without losing all your rules, supplements, campaigns, sweat, tears etc... definitely check it out.

For now, let's just say it's everything you already know and love- 3.5 through and through, but with a twist. The rules have been fine tuned and polished to a shine. Classes have been rewritten to maximize usefulness without destroyed (or even denting) the core design of the class. Races have better perks, and monsters seem to have the potential to run a bit smoother due to the rule rewrites.

A quick and very good example. Remember how much of a pain some of the combat tactics can be? Grappling, tripping, disarming, sundering, and bull rushing all have similar rules that tend to involve more than a couple rolls, if not glances in the PHB. Almost everything now works off of a separate system similar to attack vs AC: Combat Maneuver Bonus (CMB) and Combat Maneuver Defense (CMD). By utilizing this very efficient system (and the appropriate feats,) the exact same goal can be accomplished in Pathfinder as in 3.5 with significantly less headache, while still being fair and balanced.

Potentially a more in depth review on the horizon!

Either check out the core rulebooks (only two of them, the Core Rulebook and Bestiary) at your local hobby retail shop, or check them out here on the internets: [link]

You can actually purchase the books for a small amount in .pdf form there as well.

A lone wanderer approaches. They walk up to the stone walls of the meeting hall. The wind and other natural elements have not yet erased all signs activity around the hall, though it has obviously fallen into disrepair. The old sign of welcome squeaks over the doorway as the wind pushes back, and gravity pulls it forward.

The wanderer shakes their head and raises a hand to the wall. When they touch it, the stone burns black. Upon the wall the wanderer traces a map, for all those who would still seek such company to follow.

Hey, I'm a member of the club running a series of articles posting fantasy art, some of which is very popular, some of which is practically unknown, but all of which is excellent, and deserving of attention. Any help I could get in promoting these articles for the sake of the artists most in need of love would be awesome. If you could let the members of the club know about these articles to spread the word for the artists that need it most, I'd be most grateful! Thanks!

What are the characteristics (specials, skills, land base, exc.) for tieflings?
:icon1d20:
3rd ed, 3.5 ed, 4th ed? Keep in mind, by law, we're not allowed to post large chucks of the D&D core books and supplements. Referencing is okay, but posting an entire statistic description of a monster or race is pushing it. Go buy them books, especially if they're 3.5 ed! Many stores are discontinuing stocking them.

Ok. Where's a good website that has info for Tieflings?

Oh another thing, can Sirines be playable, or are they too, monsters?
